Design and Economic Analysis of Concrete Prefabricated Panels for Heavy-Duty Temporary Roads
In view of the design characteristics of these temporary roads on construction sitesare low to medium traffic frequency and high load capacity.Based on the geological conditions of a temporary road project in Jinghai District,Tianjin, and in accordance with Specifications for Design of Highway Cement Concrete Pavements(JTG D40-2011),the road panel design was carried out.The calculation shows that the thickness of 20 cm prefabricated concrete panel can meet the fatigue limit strength of wheel load and temperature gradient chang-es.The structural reinforcement ratio required by the specifications can meet the tensile stress calculation caused by the shrinkage resistance of the concrete panel and the tensile stress calculation caused by the lifting condition of the bottom plate.Using the Tianjin road engineering quota pricing system,a comparative analysis was conducted on the comprehensive construction unit prices of concrete prefabricated panels with the same thickness and concrete cast-in-place panels. The comprehensive unit prices of reused concrete prefabricated panels were the same as those of concrete cast-in-place panels cast-in-place road panels, increasing the number of turnover usages can better reflect the advantages of cost savings and good economic benefits of pre-fabricated road panels.
