Publishing Mode,Development Path and Practical Effect of Leading Journals and Key Journals Selected in Excellence Plan
Under the background of"China Science and Technology Journal Excellence Action Plan",this paper focuses on the progress and achievements of 22 leading journals and 29 key journals in four aspects:development status,publication mode,development path and practical effect.The results show that the selected journals all adhere to the good concept of open science,and have a positive correlation with the development of the journals themselves from the perspective of the open access degree of publishing mode and the diversity of publishing forms.Through the Web of Science database,the variation trends in journal impact factors before and after Excellence Plan funding in 2019 and 2020 are obtained.The impact factors of 22 leading journals all achieved different degrees of improvement,ranging from 3.486%to 108.205%;Twenty-six of the 29 key journals have improved,but three journals have shown a slight downward trend.The increase in the impact factor of 26 journals ranged from 5.663%to 78.414%.In 2022,among the journals with an impact factor higher than 5,leading journals accounted for 91%,and key journals accounted for 66%,and five of the leading journals had an impact factor higher than 20,accounting for 23%(concentrated in cell and immunology),reflecting the outstanding achievements of leading journals in terms of international influence.
