Development History of Bibliometrics in China and Its Application in Evaluation of Scientific and Technological Journals
As a major tool for journal evaluation,bibliometrics plays an important role in optimizing journal quality and promoting the healthy development of journals.This article reviews the development history of bibliometrics in China,its application in journal evaluation,and the existing problems.It is proposed that the construction of journal evaluation indicators and systems should continue to be improved in the future.
