Laying of deepwater underwater pipelines and cables is a key construction project for the development of deepwater oil and gas resources.Deepwater underwater trenching operations have distinct characteristics such as high technical difficulty,complex construction,and huge investment.The practical application of jetting flexible pipeline and cable trencher in deepwater oil and gas development projects is summarized and studied.The key technical issues of the deepwater trencher,such as product performance,actual deep water function test,trenching procedure,trenching type and trenching effect are analyzed.After the relevant practice verification,the technical ability and construction ability to independently complete the kilometer level deepwater trenching have been mastered,breaking the foreign monopoly.Relevant experience and methods can be used as reference for similar projects in the future.
