ESG investment,as an emerging model that introduces environmental,social and corporate governance concepts to guide investment decisions,has developed rapidly worldwide in recent years.The paper reviews the background and development process of the rise of ESG investment,and focuses on analyzing its promotion in China.The development stages,actual effects and challenges faced by ESG investment in China are sorted out.On this basis,targeted policy recommendations are proposed for further optimizing China's top-level design and institutional infrastructure of ESG investment.
