Due to the limitation of thermal production technology and cost in offshore oil fields,cold production test is often used to obtain production capacity of Bohai heavy oil reservoir in evaluation stage.By analyzing the cold production test data of Bohai heavy oil reservoir,combining reservoir engineering theory formula calculation and reservoir numerical simulation calculation,the technical limits for cold production test viscosity of Bohai heavy oil reservoir are determined.On this basis,the thermal production capacity of Bohai heavy oil reservoirs is evaluated using the cold production capacity test data of the oilfield,and a thermal production capacity evaluation method is developed.The research results can be used to judge whether the oilfield is suitable for cold production test and guide the reasonable production capacity allocation of the reservoir so as to save exploration cost and improve oilfield development benefit.
