Reconstruction Plan and Implementation Effect of Gas-liquid Separation Process at Compressor Inlet in an Offshore Oilfield
Compressor has been widely used in petroleum and chemical industry. However,in actual operation, compressed natural gas may contain harmful components such as oil, water, solid particles, etc. With the long-term operation of the equipment, the compressor device will be damaged and the production process will have greater safety risks.Taking an offshore oilfield as an example, combined with the process characteristics of the compressor system, the inlet process of the medium pressure compressor unit is reconstructed.A gas-liquid high-efficiency scrubber is added in front of the unit, which can effectively remove most of the water and liquid hydrocarbon carried in the natural gas, solve the problems in the production process, and provide practical experience and theoretical basis for other oilfields to deal with similar problems.
