Research on a New Horizontal Bow Loading System for Shuttle Tanker
Shuttle tankers play an important role in modern marine crude oil transportation,and the bow loading system is one of its core components,playing a vital role in the process of crude oil tandem offloading.At present,China's marine crude oil export operation mostly adopts the amidship hose export method,which has some limitations compared with the bow conveying of the bow loading system.In view of the problems faced by ships using crude oil export bow loading technology in the South China Sea,this paper starts from the introduction of the operation process of bow loading system,compares the bow loading form of traditional shuttle oil tankers in foreign countries,and proposes a new horizontal bow loading system layout scheme,which optimizes the structure of the bow loading system,and provide valuable reference for the design of bow loading of shuttle tankers.
