Abstract
This article elaborates on the basic composition and function of VIN engraving on the body-in-white,compares the commonly used VIN engraving processes and their respective advantages and disadvantages,and summarizes the quality requirements and inspection methods for VIN engraving,providing a referencefor selecting VIN engraving process for various vehicle models.
