Construction and Improvement of Performance Management System for Editorial Departments of Sci-tech Journals
The staff structure and current performance management of the editorial departments of sci-tech journals A and B are similar,and there are problems such as insufficient editors,unclear job responsibilities,and subjective performance evaluation indicators.Based on the basic principles of project human resource management and performance management,by selecting important assessment indicators,a performance management system combining qualitative and quantitative indicators is constructed from three levels:organizational performance,team performance and staff performance.Specific practices are as follows:the performance management of the editorial department should follow the principles of openness and fairness,objectivity and feasibility,and development orientation.On the basis of clarifying the division of posts,combined with the work characteristics of the editorial department,it should be aligned with the performance evaluation system of the host unit,carefully selecting qualitative and quantitative indicators,and constructing a performance management system for the editorial department.
