Research Status of AI and Publishing in China and Enlightenment from Analysis of 791 Thematic Literatures
The relevant literatures of artificial intelligence and publishing in CNKI database were selected to discuss the current status and trend of the research on artificial intelligence and publishing in China.The annual trend of published papers,the distribution of journals with more than 10 published papers,the distribution of institutions with more than 9 published papers,the authors with more than 5 published papers,and the annual distribution of papers published by core journals of Peking University and National Social Science Foundation of China were analyzed.The contents and viewpoints of the literatures with high downloads and citations were observed and compared.The results showed that 791 research papers related to artificial intelligence and publishing were included,among which the highest number of papers was 193 in 2023,and there was a correlation between publication year and annual number of papers(r2=0.877).There were 18 journals with≥10 published papers.There were 15 institutions with≥9 published papers.There were 7 scholars who have published≥5 papers.There were 419 papers in the core journals of Peking University and 84 papers from the National Social Science Foundation of China.The research content of literatures with download times≥500 and citation times≥10 mainly focuses on the driving factors of research related to artificial intelligence and publishing,the impact of artificial intelligence on publishing and the corresponding strategies adopted by the publishing industry to the impact of artificial intelligence.Most of them believe that the advantages of artificial intelligence in publishing outweigh the disadvantages.
