Analysis of Influence of Foundation Boundary Conditions on Structural Safety Evaluation of Jack-up Production Platforms
The jack-up production platforms have gradually been applied to the development of marginal oil fields, and their structural safety has been concerned. The structural analysis model of a jack-up production platform is established, and the stress state, displacement and UC values of the legs(ratio of bearing capacity to service requirements)of the platform under the two boundary conditions of hinge constraint and considering soil equivalent stiffness are calculated respectively. The differences in the calculated results are analyzed.Although the setting of the hinge constraint is conservative, the corresponding stress distribution of the legs has a large deviation from the actual situation. The setting of soil equivalent stiffness constraint can more truly reflect the actual stress state of the legs,so as to provide reference for the optimization design and maintenance of the platform.
