This article explores the application and development of artificial intelligence technology in the field of qualitative data analysis.The background and importance of qualitative data analysis are introduced,followed by a focus on the potential applications of the language model ChatGPT,which has emerged in recent years,in this field.ChatGPT,with its powerful natural language processing and generation capabilities,provides a new solution for qualitative data analysis tasks such as sentiment analysis,topic recognition,and intelligent question answering.However,although ChatGPT has shown great potential in qualitative data analysis,it still faces challenges in data quality,model interpretability,and user personalization.Looking ahead to the future,with the continuous progress and innovation of technology,ChatGPT and its related technologies will play an increasingly important role in qualitative data analysis,providing more intelligent and efficient solutions for data-driven decision-making and business development.
