Case Study of CRA Subsea Pipeline Laying in South China Sea in Winter
In recent years,CRA subsea pipelines have shown advantages in offshore oil transportation, natural gas transportation, and pipeline material selection due to their excellent corrosion resistance and relatively low cost. They are being widely adopted internationally.Due to the special structure, the construction efficiency of CRA subsea pipelines is low,and the laying of CRA subsea pipelines in the South China Sea in winter faces certain challenges and risks.Taking the CRA subsea pipeline laying in a project in the South China Sea as an example, the impact of harsh winter sea conditions in the South China Sea on the CRA subsea pipeline laying is analyzed, and suggestions on countermeasures are given for the main problems encountered during actual construction.
