Based on the research on the activity of"Meteorological Science Popularization in Thousands of Villages"in 15 provinces(autonomous regions and municipalities)in China in 2022,the methods,effects,challenges and reasons of its support for rural revitalization are evaluated.Combined with the development of agriculture and rural areas in Tianjin,some specific strategies for universal science popularization to boost rural revitalization are summarized and proposed:Perfect the resource sharing mechanism and form a large-scale science popularization pattern;Improve the science popularization system that closely connects scientific and technological innovation,scientific popularization and sophisticated services;Create a smart scene-oriented social service system relying on the Internet and artificial intelligence technology;Establish a team of science popularization talents who adapt to the new business form of smart agriculture service;Strive to improve the scientific literacy of farmers and help improve the level of modern agriculture in Tianjin.
