Dust explosion,especially secondary explosion,will lead to heavy casualties and property losses.Based on engineering design,the design process of dust explosion-proof engineering is put forward.This paper gives a detailed overview of dust identification,explosion zone zoning,explosion-proof and protection grade,explosion prevention and explosion protection,and puts forward the problems that need attention in engineering design.
