As an important part of public service,public meteorological service is related to public life and property safety,economic and social development.In the new climate environment,people's demand for public meteorological services is increasing.Weather modification,as an important component of the public meteorological service system,plays a significant role in public meteorological services for disaster prevention and mitigation.By analyzing the application and existing problems of weather modification in public meteorological services for disaster prevention and mitigation,targeted solutions are proposed.
