Tianjin has proposed to build a three-tier modern science and technology museum system,with the municipal science and technology museum as the leader,district-level science and technology museums and professional science and technology museums as the backbone,and various science popularization venues established relying on primary and secondary schools,enterprises and institutions,townships(towns,streets,communities,villages)as grass-roots venues,namely"leader+backbone+grass-roots".As an important component of the system,the development level of district-level science and technology museums directly affects the perfection of the entire system and the popularization effect of science popularization services.Focusing on district-level science and technology museums as the main research object,and aiming at accelerating the construction of a high-quality modern science and technology museum system,this article proposes the overall thinking and specific measures for the construction and development of district-level science and technology museums.
