This paper explores the academic influence and development status of English science and technology journals in universities,and provides strategies for improving the international influence of English science and technology journals in universities.By collecting and organizing literature,conducting website research and analysis,the key issues in enhancing the academic influence and development status of English science and technology journals in universities are investigated,and relevant strategies are put forward:The establishment of English science and technology journals in universities should be academically oriented and enhance their academic influence;Strengthen international communication,improve the degree of internationalization of journals;Using the new media channels to build a periodical multiple communication system;Strengthen services and build a user-centered communication system.
