A reasonable journal evaluation system can play a promoting role in improving the structure of journals,optimizing resource allocation,cultivating outstanding talents,and leading the development of journals.At present,under the guidance of national policies,the current situation of relying mainly on citation data and neglecting journal quality evaluation has been reversed.However,in order to compete with international journals under the same conditions,long-term efforts are still needed in multiple aspects.This article explores and summarizes the future development direction of scientific and technological journals in China,in order to provide reference for the construction of the evaluation system of scientific and technological journals in China.
