Practical Research on Establishment of National Science Popularization Demonstration Zones:Taking Beichen District as an Example
The establishment of national science popularization demonstration counties(cities,districts)is a key science popularization work of the China Association for Science and Technology(CAST)for grassroots.It plays an important role in strengthening the awareness of science popularization among local governments and promoting the significant improvement of grassroots science popularization work.Taking Beichen District as an example,this paper focuses on improving the ability of science popularization and the scientific literacy of citizens in the whole district,and promoting the in-depth development of holistic science popularization through improving organizational mechanisms,building strong positions and optimizing volunteer services.
