"Certainty Preference"or"Uncertainty Attraction"?——Personal Experience of Uncertainty and Its Reflection
Uncertainty is widespread in society and has a significant impact on personal daily life.It has been found that people show a strong preference for certainty on one hand,and on the other hand they are deeply attracted to uncertainty,thus showing the coexistence of"certainty preference"and"uncertainty attrac-tion".In essence,uncertainty is a neutral cognitive state.Biological factors lead to intrinsic differences in uncertainty preferences,while external environmental factors also affect the perception of uncertainty.Thus,personal uncertainty perception and experience is the result of the combined effect of the internal un-certainty preference and the external objective environment.
