钱穆自十八岁初登杏坛,在执教谋生中自求长进,苦读摸索,后又走上大学讲台,成为著作等身的学术大师,其教育生涯长达七十余年.作为一名师者,他学而不厌、诲人不倦,讲学足迹遍布南北,可谓桃李满天下.作为一名学者,他以复兴中国文化为己任,笔耕不辍,为中国文化教育开辟新道路.钱穆的独特之处在于,他主要是靠自学苦读从最底层的乡村走向了中国学术的最高舞台,堪称"善自得师"的典范.而其不寻常的教师生涯背后,体现的是他对于中国师道传统的接续.在对中国传统师道的体悟中,钱穆以所学所教,成为对中国传统师道加以现代践履的突出代表人物.
The Modern Practice of Chinese Traditional Principles of Being a Teacher:An Exploration Based on Qian Mu's Teaching Career
Qian Mu from the age of eighteen when he first appeared on the apricot altar,teaching to earn a living in self-improvement,studied hard to find out,and then went to the uni-versity podium,became amaster of academic writing,and his educational career for more than seventy years.As a teacher,he never tired of learning,teaching,and lecturing throughout the North and South,which can be said to be full of peaches and plums.As a scholar,he took the revitalization of Chinese culture as his responsibility and worked tirelessly to open up new paths for Chinese culture and education.The uniqueness of Qian Mu lies in the fact that he went from the lowest village to the highest stage of Chinese academics maily by self-study and hard study,which is an example of a"self-taught teacher".Behind his unusual career as a teacher,he em-bodied the continuity of the Chinese tradition of the teacher's way.In his realization of the Chi-nese traditional principles of being a teacher,Qian Mu became a prominent representative of the modern practice of the Chinese traditional principles of being a teacher with what he had learned and taught.
