Can Home-School Cooperation be Effective in Reducing School Bullying Among Adolescents?——An Empirical Analysis Based on the OECD Social-Emotional Competence Survey
The study uses Chinese data from Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development's social-emotional competence survey of adolescents to explore the impact and mechanism of home-school cooperation on adolescent bullying,based on the theory of human de-velopmental bio-ecology.It was found that:(1)Home school cooperation has a significant inhib-itory effect on adolescent bullying,which can reduce the frequency of adolescent bullying;(2)parent-child relationship,teacher-student relationship and social-emotional competence can play an independent mediating role between home-school cooperation and adolescent bullying;(3)"Parent-child relationship → social-emotional competence"and"Parent-child relationship→ social-emotional competence"play a chain mediating role in the influence of home school co-operation on adolescent bullying.So it is necessary to build a collaborative community of educa-tion between families and schools,establish a joint prevention mechanism for school bullying,es-tablish good parent-child and teacher-student relationships,adhere to the educational philosophy of promoting five-domains educations simultaneously,and enhance the social and emotional abil-ities of young people,in order to we can achieve the purpose of strengthening the governance of bullying in schools and reduce the number of adolescents who are subjected to bullying.
