The Content,Characteristics and Experiential Reflection of American Teachers'Social Emotional Competence Cultivation Projects
In recent years,in order to meet the demands of new technological revolution and future education development on teachers'social emotional competence,the cultivation of social e-motional competence in the United States has gradually shifted its focus to the group of teachers,and developed pre-service teacher education courses,the emotionally intelligent teacher,mindful-ness-based teacher training,RULER's social emotional learning and other teachers'social emo-tional competence cultivation projects.These projects have typical characteristics such as scientif-ic cultivation framework,diversity of forms,supportive development environment,and have pro-duced remarkable social benefits.The practical experiences of American teachers'social emotion-al competence cultivation projects are as follows:relying on scientific theories,consolidating the theoretical foundation;making legal and policy,effectively facilitating the implementation of these projects;guiding by multi-subject collaboration,creating a supportive environment.These pro-jects are mainly developed from the general dimensions of the individual,society,decision-mak-ing that proposed by CASEL,and there are also difficulties in measurement and evaluation.It should selectively absorb and learn from its beneficial experience,making appropriate innovations from the aspects of scientific theory,policy guarantee and supportive environment.
