Study on the Functional Positioning and Development Path of Vocational Education at the Undergraduate Level——Differences Analysis Between Germany Universities of Applied Sciences and Vocational Colleges
Clearly defining the talent cultivation objectives of undergraduate-level vocational education,especially clarifying the differentiated positioning between two different higher education institutions,namely,undergraduate applied technology and undergraduate-level vocational education,is of vital importance to the development of undergraduate-level vocational education at present.Drawing on the successful experience of German universities of applied sciences and vocational colleges,and analyzing the differences in their cultivation objectives,professional settings,curriculum systems,teaching modes,etc.,it is proposed that the functional positioning of China's undergraduate vocational education should focus on the cultivation of abilities related to vocational practice,and form a set of professional settings that are consistent with the needs of applied sciences and vocational colleges through the professional settings facing the needs of enterprises,vocational practice oriented curriculum system,dual-unit cooperation teaching mode,and the admission criteria with the participation of enterprises.We propose that the functional positioning of vocational education in China should focus on the cultivation of abilities related to vocational practice.
