Digital Teaching Innovation in Vocational Education from an International Perspective——A Study Based on the 2023 European Innovative Teaching Award for Vocational Education
Through research and analysis of 27 vocational education categories of the 2023 European Innovative Teaching Award,the study finds that the thematic innovations of the award-winning projects mainly focus on:highlighting cross-border resource collaboration and sharing,emphasizing the application of digital tools,and following up the latest digital technologies and needs of enterprises.Under the empowerment of digital technology,the teaching innovation reflected in the European Innovative Teaching Award for Vocational Education is specifically manifested in:teachers'roles focus on digital collaboration and international teamwork;teaching methods often adopt blended learning models and personalized learning paths;teaching environments are virtual and encourage open resource-sharing;and teaching outcomes focus on diverse evaluation systems and inclusive education practices.Based on the experience of innovative teaching practice among vocational education teachers in Europe,this paper puts forward the following suggestions for promoting innovative teaching practices in vocational education in the digital era:building teaching teams,focusing on cross-disciplinary cooperation and the construction of virtual teams,supporting lifelong career development,optimizing digital resources and a wide range of development opportunities,paying attention to the growth of individual students,implementing precise teaching and comprehensive integrated education;enhancing the impact of teaching and learning,building support systems and utilizing internationalized platforms.
