Exploring the Structure of Aesthetic Education in Aesthetics Courses in Colleges and Universities in China
The current emphasis on"utilitarianism"in Chinese higher education development contradicts the"non-utilitarian"character of aesthetics,consequently reducing aesthetics'educational role in colleges and universities.Therefore,the traditional structure of aesthetics curriculum structure must be restructured to address this issue.This necessitates the introduction of specialized aesthetic courses in dominant disciplines,the revitalization of aesthetic courses in non-dominant disciplines,and the innovation of the general aesthetics course system to achieve the"vertical expansion"of the aesthetics curriculum structure.Additionally,a three-dimensional aesthetics education system beyond the campus should be established,and the aesthetic campus culture reformulated,so to realize the"outward expansion"of the aesthetics curriculum structure.
