The effect of Bushen Yichong formula on ovarian tissue morphology and sex hormones in rats with diminished ovarian reserve
Objective:To investigate the effect of Bushen Yichong formula on ovarian reserve function in rats with a diminished ovarian reserve(DOR)model. Methods:Forty female non-pregnant SD rats were selected and randomly divided into blank group, model group,Bushen Yichong formula group, and Premarin group.Except for the blank group, the remaining rats were treated with tripterysium polyglycoside tablets to prepare a DOR rat model. After successful modeling, the rats received corresponding therapeutic interventions. After the drug intervention, the serum levels of anti-mullerian hormone(AMH),follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),estradiol(E2),and luteinizing hormone(LH)were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),and the pathological changes in the ovarian tissues of the rats were observed by hematoxylin-eosin(HE)staining.Results:Compared with the blank group, the serum levels of FSH and LH in the model group rats were increased(P<0.05),and the levels of AMH and E2 were decreased(P<0.05);the number of primordial follicles and growing follicles in the ovaries was decreased, and atretic follicles were increased; The interstitium of the ovaries was hyperplasia and fibrosis. After the intervention of Bushen Yichong formula, the serum levels of FSH and LH hormones in DOR rats decreased(P<0.05),and the levels of AMH and E2 hormones increased(P<0.05);the morphology of ovarian tissues was improved, with an increase in the number of primordial follicles and growing follicles, and a decrease in the number of atretic follicles. Conclusion:Bushen Yichong formula has an improving effect on the morphology and quality of ovarian tissue in DOR rats and can regulate AMH,FSH,E2,and LH levels to improve the ovarian function of DOR rats.
