Effect of Danhong injection combined with betahistine in the treatment of patients with acute vertigo
Objective:To investigate the effects of Danhong injection combined with betahistine on cerebral hemody-namics and coagulation indicators in patients with acute vertigo.Methods:From February 2021 to February 2023,60 pa-tients with acute vertigo diagnosed and treated in our hospital were selected as research subjects and divided into an obser-vation group(30 cases)and a control group(30 cases)by the random number method.The enrolled patients in both groups re-ceived routine treatment for hypotension and hypoglycemia.The control group was administered betahistine 20 mg sodium chlo-ride injection 250 ml intravenously for 45 min.The observation group was administered an intravenous injection of Dan-hong injection 30 ml+250 ml sodium chloride injection for 45 min compared to the control group.The clinical efficacy of the two groups was evaluated and compared,and the degree of vertigo,indexes of blood brain flow,and coagulation indexes were compared before and after treatment.Results:After 1 week of treatment,the total effective rate of the observation group was 93.33%(28/30),which was significantly higher than that of the control group[73.33%(22/40)](P＜0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in the dizziness handicap inventory(DHI)and Barthel index(BI)scores between the two groups(P＞0.05).After 1 week of treatment,the DHI score decreased and the BI score increased in both groups.The DHI score in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group,and the BI score in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there were no significant differences in the blood flow velocity of the basilar artery(BA),left vertebral artery(LVA),and right vertebral artery(RVA)between the two groups(P＞0.05).After 1 week of treatment,the blood flow velocity of the BA,LVA,and RVA in both groups was significantly accelerated,and the observation group was faster than the control group(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there were no signifi-cant differences in activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),prothrombin time(PT),or fibrinogen(FIB)between the two groups(P＞0.05).After 1 week of treatment,APTT and PT increased in both groups,and the levels in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The FIB of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Danhong injection combined with betahistine has a good clinical effect in the treatment of patients with acute vertigo,which can improve the therapeutic effect and self-care ability of patients and improve cerebral blood flow and coagulation status.
