Clinical observation on auricular point sticking and pressing combined with progressive muscle relaxation exercise in the treatment of patients with generalized anxiety disorder
[Objective]To investigate the therapeutic effect of auricular point sticking and pressing combined with progressive muscle relaxation exercise on patients with generalized anxiety disorder.[Methods]The 140 inpatients in the psychosomatic department of the Third Class A Hospital from June 2021 to May 2022 were selected as the research objects, and randomly divided into the control group and the observation group with 70 patients in each group. The control group was treated with trinity plus traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)internal medicine nursing routine, while the observation group was treated with trinity plus TCM nursing routine combined with auricular point sticking and pressing technology combined with gradual relaxation to compare the improvement of generalized anxiety disorder symptoms of the two groups.[Results]Compared with the SAS score and HAMA score before and after treatment, the SAS score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).At the same time,by comparing the scores of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes before and after treatment, the observation group had lower scores than the control group(P<0.05).[Conclusion]The combination of traditional Chinese medicine ear acupoint pressing and progressive muscle relaxation exercises adopted a unique complementary mode of combining traditional Chinese and Western medicine, which reduced the patient's resistance and fear of Western medicine treatment. The operation was easy for patients to accept, improved treatment compliance, and achieved good treatment results. It is worthy of widespread use in clinical psychosomatic diseases.
