Exploration of efficacy markers for Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata in restoring yang and rescuing patient from collapse based on systematic traditional Chinese medicine
[Objective]This study aims to explore efficacy markers and mechanisms of Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata in restoring yang and rescuing patient from collapse based on the theory of systematic traditional Chinese medicine.[Methods]We collected the main chemical components and targets of Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata,and established a protein interaction network and biological module analysis method.Following the pattern of"herb-component-target-pharmacology-efficacy"we clarified the boundaries of Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata's efficacy in restoring yang and rescuing patient from collapse from the perspectives of elements,structures,boundaries,and functional levels.We also elucidated the mechanisms of Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata in restoring yang and rescuing patient from collapse,as well as identified efficacy markers.[Results]Twelve components,namely Aconitine,Benzoylmesaconine,Chasmanine,Deacetylaconitine,Delphinine,Fuzipyridine B,Artemisinin,Benzoylaconine,Deacetylpubescenine,Delphinine,Magnolol,and Isoliquiritigenin,targeted nine key proteins and acted on six functional modules.They exerted the efficacy of restoring yang and rescuing patient from collapse by participating in G protein-coupled receptor signaling pathways,regulating programmed cell death,intracellular potassium ion transport,steroid synthesis,intracellular protein kinase cascades,and redox reactions.[Conclusion]This study identified efficacy markers for Aconiti Lateralis Preparata in restoring yang and rescuing patient from collapse.The selected effective components,supported by existing research,can provide new ideas and methods for quality control and drug development of Aconiti Lateralis Preparata.
