ZHANG Xichun,a famous modern doctor,has a deep understanding of the essence of Qihuang and the combination of Chinese and Western medicine.He is not bound by the words of his predecessors and has unique insights into the clinical application of classic formulas and traditional Chinese medicine.In his work Records of Tradition Chinese and Western Medicine in Combination,the gentleman not only created numerous famous formulas,but also discussed various combinations of drugs such as pair drugs and angle drugs in various articles of the book,which often have the effect of reducing drugs and increasing efficacy when used in clinical practice.This article summarizes and elaborates on the commonly used angle medicines and their medication characteristics in the Records of Tradition Chinese and Western Medicine in Combination.
