Online course construction is in full swing in colleges and universities, and improving continuance intention of students for online courses affects the efficacy of online courses.Based on a model of IS continuance, this study constructs a model about online learning readiness, learning effectiveness and continuance intention for online course learning of students in higher vocational colleges, and conducts an empirical analysis. The results show that online learning readiness has a partial significant positive effect on learning effectiveness and continuance intention, and learning effectiveness has a significant positive effect on continuance intention, and learning effectiveness plays a mediating effect between online learning readiness and continuance intention. Therefore, higher vocational colleges should take the improvement of learning effectiveness as the center, take the stimulation of learning motivation as the basis, and play the effect of other sub-dimensions,which is conducive to improving continuance intention of online courses for higher vocational students.Simultaneously, advocacy, implementation, and promoting self-directed learning from multi-dimension and multi-level is one of the breakthroughs to continuously enhance continuance intention of higher vocational students'online courses.
