摘要
高职院校教务处长能力对于院校提升人才培养质量、专业可持续发展、社会服务水平以及教学管理效能等方面起着直接推动作用.对比普通高校和高职院校在宏观办学本质属性、中观二级管理机制、微观工作职责范围的区别,厘清教务处长能力的基本内涵.通过对我国东中西部省份的国家双高校和其他高职院校的校领导、教务处处长、相关职能部门管理人员以及专任教师等群体开展封闭式问卷调研,描绘教务处长能力特征,并构建能力模型,从而针对性地提出高职院校教务处长能力的若干提升途径.
Abstract
The competence of the dean of academic affairs in higher vocational colleges plays a direct role in improving the quality of talents cultivation,professional sustainable development,social service level,and teaching management efficiency.By comparing the differences between ordinary universities and higher vocational colleges in terms of macro-level school-running essential attributes,meso-level secondary management mechanisms,and micro-level job responsibilities,this paper clarifies the basic connotation of the deans'competence.Through closed-ended questionnaire surveys conducted among school leaders,deans of academic affairs,relevant functional department managers,and full-time teachers from national double-high colleges and other higher vocational colleges in the eastern,central,and western provinces of China,this paper depicts the characteristics of the deans'competence and constructs a competence model.Based on this,several targeted improvement paths for the competence of dean of academic affairs in higher vocational colleges are proposed.
