Digital Competence Improvement of Vocational School Teachers:Motivation,Meaningand Path
Improving the digital competence of vocational college teachers is an inevitable requirement for building a digital China and promoting the digital transformation of vocational education.On the basis of clarifying the connotation of digital transformation in vocational education,this paper examines the motivation for improving the digital competence of vocational school teachers from the perspectives of main functions and practical tension.A digital competence model for vocational college teachers has been con-structed with empowering students as the core goal,digital teaching practice as the key bridge,universal digital literacy as the lit-eracy foundation,and professional development as the ability enhancement.This paper thus proposes a practical path to enhance the digital competence of vocational school teachers,covering macro,meso,and micro levels,with the national government,voca-tional colleges,enterprises,and teachers as the core,aiming to jointly promote the digital transformation of vocational education.
