Study on the Positioning and Curriculum Standard Construction of Public English Course in Vocational Undergraduate Education
The public English course is a key part of the general education system for vocational undergraduate education and the de-velopment of its curriculum standard plays an important role in improving the quality of vocational undergraduate English educa-tion.Based on an analysis of the current situation of public English teaching in vocational undergraduate education,this article dis-cusses the implementation path of construction of the curriculum standard for vocational undergraduate public English,starting from the positioning of the course.It emphasizes that the standards should reflect the high-level and professional characteristics of vocational undergraduate public English courses,with a view to providing a reference for the formulation of public English curricu-lum standard for vocational undergraduate education,and providing strong support for cultivating high-skilled and compound voca-tional talents with high proficiency in foreign language application and international literacy.
