Isolation and structural identification of the Flavonoids from the flowers of Althaea rosea
[Objictive] To study the flavonoids constituents of Althaea rosea.[Methods] The chemical compounds were isolated through Sephadex LH-20,ODS,Silica gel column chromatorgraphies and PHPLC chromatorgraphy and identified by chemical and spectral analysis (1H-NMR,13C-NMR,1H-1H COSY,HMQC,HMBC,UV,IR,MS).[Results] Nine flavonoids were obtained and identified as luteolin (1),luteolin-4'-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (2),kaempferol (3),kaempferol-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (4),kaempferol-3-O-(6"-O-trans-p-coumaroyl)-β-D-glucopyranoside (5),kaempferol-3-O-(6"-O-cis-p-coumaroyl)-β-D-glucopyranoside (6),kaempferol-3-O-β-D-(6"-feruloylglucoside) (7),kaempferol 3-O-rutinoside (8),kaempferol 4'-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (9),respectively.[Conclusion] Compounds 6,7 were obtained from Althaea genus firstly, and 9 was isolated from the plant for the first time.
