Study on chemical characterization and antioxidant activity of polyphenols from Sargentodoxa cuneata
The polyphenol components of Sargentodoxa cuneata were enriched and their content determination and chemical characterization were carried out to enrich the material research basis of the medicinal material, and the antioxidant activity of polyphenol compounds in vitro was preliminarily analyzed to provide a theoretical basis for subsequent research. The maximum absorption wavelength was determined by ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer and the total polyphenol content was determined. The chemical characterization was performed by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole-electrostatic field orbitrap high-resolution mass spectrometer. The antioxidant activity of total polyphenols in Sargentodoxa cuneata was evaluated by DPPH and ABTS methods. The maximum absorption wavelength of the optimized Folin-Ciocalte method was 740 nm,and the results showed that the total polyphenol content of Sargentodoxa cuneata was about 32.34%.By high resolution mass spectrometry,62 polyphenols were detected in Sargentodoxa cuneata, including 28 phenolic acids and phenolic glycosides,13 lignans,12 phenylpropanoids, and 9 flavonoids. The extract had scavenging effects on DPPH and ABTS free radicals, and the IC50 values were 4.88 μg/mL and 16.68 μg/mL,respectively.62 polyphenols were detected from the extract of Sargentodoxa cuneata, and the antioxidant activity was closely related to it.This experiment deeply studied the components of Sargentodoxa cuneata and provided a theoretical basis for the further development of the drug.
