Effect of Tongxinluo Capsule combined with butylphthalein on restenosis and hemodynamics of carotid artery after stent implantation
[Objective]To investigate the effects of Tongxinluo Capsule combined with butylphthalein on restenosis and hemodynamics of carotid artery after stent implantation.[Methods]A total of 80 patients with carotid artery stenting admitted to Yiling Hospital in Hebei Province from July 2021 to July 2022 were selected,divided into two groups.After surgery,40 patients in the control group were treated with butylphthalein,and 40 patients in the observation group were treated with Tongxinluo Capsule on this basis.The prognosis of the two groups was compared.[Results]The blood pressure meeting rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05),and the blood glucose meeting rate and blood lipid meeting rate among the groups were compared(P＞0.05),but the data of the observation group was slightly higher than control group.After treatment,nitric oxide(NO)in observation group was higher than that in control group,and endothelin-1(ET-1)was lower than control group(P＜0.05).C-reactive protein(CRP)in observation group was lower than that in control group(P＜0.05),and homocysteine(Hcy)was compared between groups(P＞0.05).Due to weak awareness of follow-up,transportation,long distance,and change of communication address,2 cases were lost in the observation group.During the follow-up period,the incidence of ischemic events and restenosis was compared between the two groups(P＞0.05),but the data in the observation group was lower.[Conclusion]Tongxinluo Capsule combined with butylphthalein can repair vascular endothelial function,delay atherosclerosis process,regulate inflammatory factors,promote blood circulation,and reduce long-term restenosis and ischemic events after carotid artery stenting.
