Research progress on the mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine regulating endoplasmic reticulum stress-related pathways to improve liver lipid metabolism disorders
Liver is an important organ of lipid metabolism.Hepatic steatosis is not only a direct threat to liver health, but also closely related to obesity, insulin resistance and cardiovascular diseases.Endoplasmic reticulum stress is a protective stress response of cells, but excessive endoplasmic reticulum stress can destroy the intracellular environment, affect liver lipid metabolism, and then lead to diseases.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)can reduce chronic inflammation, oxidative stress and insulin resistance by regulating endoplasmic reticulum stress-related pathways, and thus improve liver lipid metabolism disorders. This article summarizes recent domestic and foreign literature, and reviews the current research progress of Active components in Chinese herb in preventing and treating liver lipid metabolism disorders based on endoplasmic reticulum stress-related pathways. It aims to provide a theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of liver lipid metabolism disorders with TCM,and offer a valuable reference for the research and development of new clinical drugs.
