Research on the Prospecting Method of Hidden Active Faults in Intercity Railway
The detection of hidden activity of intercity railway is affected by the complex environment of the city, and traditional survey methods are easily limited. In order to identify the spatial characteristics of hidden active faults along a certain intercity railway, reveal the distribution pattern of underground media around hidden active faults and the deep geological environment, the radon measurement method was first used to conduct a preliminary survey of hidden active faults along the intercity railway, and the location of the faults was determined to be within 500 m range;Secondly, based on the results of radon measurement,a detailed survey was conducted using micro tremor exploration and opposing-coil transient electromagnetic method(OCTEM)to determine the location of hidden active faults at around 150 m,and to identify the spatial development characteristics and coverage layer thickness of hidden active faults; Finally,a comprehensive analysis of the above survey results was conducted to determine the location and distribution characteristics of hidden active faults,as well as relevant information. The survey method has the characteristics of high efficiency, low cost, and not easily affected by the environment along the intercity railway. It can quickly identify hidden active faults in complex urban environments, and the research results can provide reference for similar surveys in the future.
