Design Research of Railway Low Platform Elevating Module Based on Assembled Concept
The commonly used construction plan for increasing the height of existing railway low platforms is to demolish and rebuild the platform after blocking the lines adjacent to the platform,in order to solve the problems of long construction period, multiple mechanical equipment, long blocking time, poor engineering quality, high engineering cost, and significant environmental impact of traditional methods. This article adopted an assembly method and combined the structural types, technical characteristics, and elevation of railway low platforms to design four different types of reinforced concrete modules for ordinary speed railway platforms:square box platform module, square box frame platform module, skeleton cover plate platform module, and bridge slab platform module. An analysis was conducted on the structural types, material properties, structural forces, fixing methods, advantages and disadvantages, and applicable rang.Requirements for module installation construction technology were proposed. The low platform elevation scheme, which adopted prefabricated reinforced concrete platform modules and assembled the foundation after simple on-site treatment, achieved the expected goals through trial practice in some railway sections, including the Beijing Kowloon Line, and Xinyan Line.It has been promoted and used in Ji'nan Bureau and Hohhot Bureau. The construction period of the plan was shortened by over 50%compared to traditional methods, resulting in a 50%~75%reduction in the impact on railway transportation.Furthermore,it was characterized by low safety risks, high structural quality, extended durability, straightforward construction techniques, and reduced overall costs.
