2006-2021:Statistical Analysis and Research on Road Subsidence Accidents Induced by Metro Construction
In recent years, road collapses induced by subway construction have frequently occurred, causing serious economic losses and adverse social impacts. In order to study the characteristics of road collapses caused by subway construction,a network survey method was adopted to collect data on road collapses induced by subway construction in China from 2006 to 2021.Various influencing factors such as the year, month, city, construction method, collapse location, collapse depth, collapse area, and collapse volume were statistically analyzed. The characteristics of the accidents were compared and analyzed, and the development trend of the accidents was studied based on the number of accidents and deaths each year. The results show that road collapses induced by subway construction are more likely to occur in large cities during subway construction, often occurring after the resumption of work and production after the Spring Festival and during the rainy season in summer.Shield tunneling, pipeline leakage, and poor geological conditions are the most likely causes of collapses. The upper part of the subway tunnel section is a frequent location for collapses, with a depth mostly between 0~6 m.Based on the analysis, six technical and management suggestions are proposed, which can provide valuable references for understanding and preventing road collapses during subway construction.
