Application of BIM Common Data Environment in Railway Projects
High speed railway projects are characterized by large scale, long construction period, large number of participants and wide scope of influence. Many disciplines are involved during construction, with tremendous cross-discipline designs and multi-process construction. The overall project is characterized by great complexity. At present,it is difficult to realize the whole process,multi-party,and multi-platform collaboration of railway projects.Based on the BIM research results of railway engineering construction in China, this paper looks at the data management requirements for railway whole-process and in-project application.Based on the concept of Common Data Environment(CDE)proposed in ISO 19650,this paper discusses the work characteristics of CDE,forms a CDE framework and solution for railway projects, and maximizes the value of BIM application in the whole process of railway projects.
