Construction Technology of Spliced Open-joint Double-curved Aluminum Curtain Wall at Nanchangdong Railway Station
The 28 aluminum floral columns adorning the curtain wall outside the elevated waiting hall at Nanchangdong Railway Station stand out as the station's iconic architectural feature.These structures are crafted using double-curved special-shaped aluminum panels,posing challenges in assembly and construction.A comprehensive breakdown and analysis of the joist,cladding,and detailed construction techniques have been conducted and a high-quality aesthetic outcome has been achieved by controlling key aspects throughout the process.Leveraging the current BIM technology,the project fully harnessed and enhanced the potential of joint ordering,offering effective guidance for machining and installing the double-curved aluminum panels to achieve the design effect.Furthermore,pre-welding,prefabrication,and other methods notably boosted the construction efficiency of standardized module replication,ensuring a consistent and uniform construction effect.Technological practices like pre-assembled joists,the splicing process of open-joint aluminum panels,and fully special-shaped stone column bases offer valuable insights for similar projects.
