The Princeton University Library has the Peking Opera LP record,Ruse of the Empty City produced in the United States in 1960.Although the record has English lyrics and translators,it does not list the performers,accompanist,and original recording year.Through comparing various versions of the same record,the original edition and actors are identified.There are interesting stories about the cultural exchange between the East and West behind the record—evidence that art has power in transcending barriers.
