Practice of health education based on blind channel ward combined with Teach-back in patients after ophthalmology surgery
Objective To explore the application effect of health education based on blind channel ward combined with Teach-back in patients after ophthalmology surgery.Methods To select 122 eye surgery patients admitted to the hospital from January to December 2021 as the research subjects,they were divided into a control group and an observation group according to the principle of comparability of basic information between groups,with 61 cases in each group.The control group adopted the routine nursing process;the observation group adopted the Teach-back health education program based on the control group.The incidence of accidents,anxiety scores,postoperative self-care ability and experience satisfaction during postoperative visual impairment were compared between the two groups of patients before and after the intervention.Results The incidence of accidental events during postoperative visual impairment in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The postoperative anxiety score of patients in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The patients in the observation group had higher self-care ability scores in daily life such as eating,grooming,dressing,going to the toilet,and activities after surgery than those in the control group,the patients in the observation group were more satisfied with the ward setting experience than the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Blind ward combined with Teach-back health education can help reduce the incidence of accidents in patients after ophthalmic surgery,alleviate patients'postoperative psychological anxiety,improve patients'postoperative physical and mental status and self-care ability,thereby improving the safety management and services of ophthalmic care.Ability has also played a role in promoting the development of ophthalmic blindness prevention in my country.
