Objective Vulvovaginal candidiasis(VVC)is a common infectious disease of the lower genital tract among women in childbearing age.In addition to causing damage to the reproductive organs and functions of the patients,VVC also causes a series of problems related to the patients'mental health, quality of life, and social function due to the recurrent attacks and intractability. In order to enhance the awareness of VVC patients about the prevention and treatment of the disease and to improve the quality of health services and women's reproductive health. This research explored the effectiveness of the"Internet+ Health Management"model in intervening in the population detected with vulvovaginal candidiasis(VVC)during health check-ups.Methods From July 2019 to March 2020,200 childbearing age women diagnosed with VVC adimitted to the hospital were selected as the study subjects, they were divided into an observation group and a control group of 100 cases each according to the principle of comparability of basic characteristics between the groups. In the control group, the routine health check-up management was adopted, including the distribution of physical examination results and health advice, the establishment of health check-up files, and reminding patients by phone or text message to attend follow-up examinations on time, etc. In the observation group, the"Internet+ Health Management"model was applied on the basis of the control group, with the establishment of a management team, the construction of a platform for communication between doctors and patients, health popularisation, health risk assessment, personalised interventions, and regular health follow-ups.To compared the efficacy,VVC recurrence rate, medical compliance and VVC-related knowledge scores of the two groups before and after the intervention. Results After 3 and 6 months of intervention, all VVC-related knowledge scores of the patients in the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the intervention, the patients in the observation group had a lower rate of compliance with medical treatment, total clinical effectiveness and VVC recurrence than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion"Internet Health Management"model can promote the healthy lifestyle of VVC detected patients, improve their treatment compliance, postponded the development of VVC,reduce the recurrence rate of VVC,and achieve the expected management goals. It played the role of"treating the disease before it develops and preventing the disease before it occurs"in preventing and controlling the development of VVC.This management model had the characteristics of high efficiency, wide coverage and low cost, and is suitable for application in the field of health management and clinical care.
