Application of acupoint application combined with herbal mud moxibustion in patients with cold-damp paralytic rheumatoid arthritis
Objective To explore the effect of acupoint application combined with traditional Chinese medicine mud moxibustion on disease activity and pain in patients with rheumatoid arthritis with cold-damp paralysis resistance,to provide a reference method for the effective clinical care of patients with cold-damp paralysis resistance rheumatoid arthritis.Methods 90 patients with active rheumatoid arthritis of cold-damp paralytic resistance type who were hospitalised in the endocrine department of the hospital from June 2022 to April 2023 were selected as the study subjects,they were divided into the control group,acupoint patch group and acupoint patch combined with traditional Chinese medicine mud moxibustion group according to the principle of the basic characteristics of the groups are comparable,routine care was provided to the control group,and acupoint patch group was given on the basis of the routine care.The control group was given routine care,the acupoint patch group was given acupoint patch on the basis of routine care,and the acupoint patch group was given herbal moxibustion on the basis of the acupoint patch group.Disease Activity Score(DAS28),Visual pain Analogue Scale(VAS)scores,morning stiffness time and TCM efficacy scores of the three groups were compared before and after the intervention.Results Before the nursing intervention,there was no statistically significant difference in the DAS28 score,VAS score,morning stiffness time and Chinese medicine efficacy score of the three groups(P＞0.05).After the nursing intervention,the improvement of DAS28 score,VAS score and morning stiffness time in the acupoint application combined with traditional Chinese medicine mud moxibustion group was better than that of the control group and the acupoint application group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Comparison of Chinese medicine efficacy among the three groups of patients,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The combination of acupoint application and traditional Chinese medicine mud moxibustion can effectively alleviate the disease activity of patients with rheumatoid arthritis with cold-damp paralysis,shorten the time of morning stiffness,improve the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine,delay the emergence of joint deformity,delay and inhibit the progression of lesions in the joints and synovium,and improve the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine.
